It gives us great pleasure to re-design and re-launch the

It has been a slow and steady progress for us since we launched in August this month. Since launch, we haves slowly built a small base of library users and libraries which we feel will steadily rise in the coming months.
We would like all our users to take active part in the forum, directory listing, event listing and updating your profile details.
Some time back we also launched a points system where in
- 25 points are added as soon as you registered.
- refer other users (once you log-in > under user menu > refer a user) which gets you 25 points for each successful referral.
- create a new item in forum - earns you 2 points
- answer query in forum - earns you 1 point
- get 1 point for loggin in (credited only once in a day, no multiple points for multiple logins during same day)
- 10 points added on your birth date.
We would also like users to contribute articles related to libraries, library usage and future of libraries. Please send your articles to article{at}librarynext.com with your user-name. If your article is selected, we shall add up to 250 points for your article depending on the content. You can even post your articles here in the forum under
Submit Article.
You could even send across promotional matter like launch of new book and also post events in your area with regards library users.
We would also like our users to help us build a directory database of sections found under Directory-Free Listing.
- For each directory - free listing that is done a user is awarded 10 points.
The points system at present will not be much beneficial to our users, but soon we are planning to add rewards program where in you could trade your points for articles.
Soon we are also launching "GROUPS". This section will allow all users to create their own groups - say something like "College XYZ Group" or say "Rare Books Group".
Many users have also reported that they have not got the password or activation link to the site. This is an automated process. In-case for any reason you have still not received the automated mail, please send across an email to : signup{at}librarynext.com with your email and/or user-name and we shall send you a new password.
